The aim of this ministry is to address the unique and relevant issues women face. Our goal is to support and encourage women in their Christian walk and day-to-day lives. We are real women who want to spur one another on in love and good deeds; and our desire is to empower women to be effective examples of Christ in their homes, churches, communities, and on their jobs.

The women's ministry plans various activities throughout the year including but not limited to: shopping trips, retreats, seminars, movies, plays, concerts, service projects, spa day, overnight trips, work-outs, community projects, Mothers day out and more.

When: Every 4th Sunday at 9:30 am

The purpose and heart of this ministry is to:

• See single men and women live Godly fulfilled lives.
• See singles growing spiritually, emotionally and socially.
• Recognize for most, singleness is a season leading up to God's gift of marriage. Thus we strive to effectively prepare singles to one day become godly husbands and wives.

When: Every 2nd Sunday Morning at 9:30 a.m

• Enabling couples to immediately put into practice what they've learned.
• Offering a relaxed and fun environment to deal with issues.
• Establishing and implementing a support system that deters marriage breakdown.
• Empowering couples with practical tools and Bible based principles that will lead to a happy and fulfilled marriage.
• Helping couples discover God’s purpose for their marriage.

When: Every 2nd Sunday Morning at 9:30 a.m

The Men's group is comprised of men from various churches in the Birmingham area and meets every 3rd Saturday. Depending on the fellowship event, this ministry may also meet on other days and/or nights. Some fellowship events include but are not limited to various sports outings, retreats, cookouts, fishing, community service projects, mentoring, bowling and other events.

When: Every 3rd Saturday at 12:00 - 1:15 PM And: Every 4th Sunday (**Men’s Meeting Sunday School) at 9:45 - 10:45 AM

DYM is not just a place where children are ‘kept busy’ while their parents attend church. It is a safe place for children where valuable spiritual deposits are being made into their lives. Because kids matter to God, we strive to provide excellent age-appropriate ministry programming. At Discovery Youth Ministry children are taught the life changing message of Jesus Christ through large group excitement, small group peer interaction and other various activities.

VISION STATEMENT: To equip and empower youth from age 4 years old through 8th grade to discover God, themselves, and the world they live in, so that they may become disciples of God, who walk in their God given purpose and impact the world for the kingdom of God.

Generation NEXT Teen Ministry
The mission and purpose of GENERATION NEXT is to win, disciple, and train teens for the kingdom. To aid them in discovering their God ordained purpose therefore causing them to go out into the world and boldly disciple others for the cause of Christ. To raise a standard in them to never compromise their beliefs, and their destiny, but to show others that they too are young and sold out for Christ and they are being raised up to take the Body of Christ to the NEXT dimension.

Jada Grier Memorial Summer Enrichment Program
LFCC is committed to making education a top priority for our children. The Jada Grier Memorial Summer Enrichment Program (JGMSEP) helps children continue to learn over the summer and empowers them to start the next grade better prepared! JGMSEP is designed to review concepts taught in the previous school year as well as teaches new material utilizing the grade appropriate “Summer Bridges” workbook, reading and writing assignments.

When: Every Sunday, June - August at 9:30 - 10:45 AM

Youth Choir Ministry
At LFCC, we believe that youth should have the opportunity to be involved in ministry, just like adults. The goal of the Youth Choir is to 1) lead youth to Jesus through the ministry of music 2) teach youth the joy of ministering in music and 3) raise up the next generation of musicians and choir members. The Youth Choir Ministry is a great opportunity by which to draw young people into the kingdom of God and can be heard singing praises during specific 11:00 AM services and other events.

We passionately desire that God will see LFCC as a house of prayer, a church that is focused on God and His unlimited power. At LFCC we believe apart from God we can do nothing. Therefore, it is our ultimate desire to seek God first in all that we do.

The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the church and to under gird LFCC in all its many activities and ministries. We have set out on a mission to teach and train the membership of LFCC and the body of Christ on prayer, intercession, worship, fellowship, and spiritual warfare. By equipping the people and emphasizing the importance of prayer, we are developing a model to ensure effective prayers produce desired results.

The purpose of the LFCC Drama Ministry is to glorify God through dance and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through a visual format that will assist in making the gospel relevant and heartfelt.

The goal of the LFCC Drama Ministry is to honor and worship God by encouraging, teaching, ministering and witnessing through the use of creative movement and dance. It is praise in motion. It interprets scripture, songs, illustrates a theme, communicates a feeling and brings the Holy Spirit into motion.

As a ministry, we constantly pursue excellence and we recognize that this ministry is a gift of God's grace for the purpose of bringing Him glory. The call to praise and mime dance requires a relationship with God, and the absolute necessary ingredient for being a praise and mime dancer is the Holy Spirit.

LFCC Drama Ministry is an anointed ministry that can be seen mostly on Sunday morning during 11:00 AM service and other special events throughout the year.

Mission
To help others learn how to heal from the deep hurt of divorce and discover hope for their future through Christ.

Vision
To help those who are divorced understand that God’s plan for their life remains intact. Despite their hurt, pain and the failed marriage, there is another Chapter of their life that exists…divorce is not the end of their story. Jer. 39:11 “For I know the plans I have for you…”

Purpose
A friendly, caring, Godly group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.

The people who serve in the HELPS Ministry provide essential services to our church. If any church is to grow (physically and spiritually) and prosper in winning the lost to Christ, it must have members working and contributing to the work. Everyone in the body of Christ is important to the proper working of the church so that souls can be won to the body of Christ. It is the goal of the LFCC ministry of HELPS to serve selflessly, protecting the anointing and giving others the opportunity to live out their ministries without obstacles. The ministry of HELPS would like to invite any LFCC member to avail them self in helping to create an atmosphere where people will feel love and experience the anointing of God.

Audio/Visual
Every service and event requires the technical assistance of dedicated members of the Audio Ministry. Skilled technicians and willing helpers set up and control microphone volumes, recording levels, audio mixes, amplifiers, equalizers, speakers, and other high tech audio equipment to ensure the production of a quality presentation.

Building Services
The Building Services Ministry has the responsibility of keeping our sanctuary, classrooms, and restrooms in quality condition. Cleaning of the building is performed on a routine basis, and repairs and improvements to the building are performed as necessary.

Food Service Ministry
The Food Service Ministry coordinates all food service operations for our church.

Chances are if you had food and/or beverages for a function at LFCC, the Food Service Ministry was involved in providing them. Our aim is to offer our services to all ministries of the church. The Food Service Ministry also maintains food service / kitchen equipment, and trains and orients new team members regarding health, maintenance and operational issues.

Greeters
The Greeter Ministry helps establish an atmosphere of friendliness and warmth. God's love for people is communicated through those who greet others with joy and sincerity as they enter the house of God. The Greeter acts as the host or hostess in God's house, helping people feel welcome and accepted.

Outreach
Love Fellowship has a strong history of reaching out to others in need locally and around the world. Opportunities frequently arise to provide assistance and spread the Word of God outside our walls. LFCC feeds the homeless as well as makes financial contributions to numerous charities both in the United States and abroad. If you would like to donate, include your donation in with your offering and remember to indicate the amount of your donation on your offering envelop under missions.

Parking Lot Ministry
Our friendly and faithful Parking Lot Attendants are the first faces people see or speak with upon arriving at our facility. You will find them outside in all kinds of weather - smiling and waving at those who drive by as well as offering a friendly greeting when you enter. If it is raining, they will meet you at your automobile with an umbrella and help you get to the building as dry as possible. The Parking Lot Ministry attendants ensure the safety and security for those coming to our Sunday services by directing traffic, and watching out for those walking in the lots so that no mishaps occur.

Ushers
Ushers serve the Pastor and the people of the church so that the services can flow decently and in order, thus enhancing the ministry of God's Word and the move of the Holy Spirit. Ushers answer questions, provide directions, and coordinate seating for members and guests. They also help receive the tithes and offerings. When a special need arises, Ushers respond so that people are served in a most efficient manner, and distractions and disturbances are kept to a minimum. By serving and protecting, Ushers ensure that the flow of the Holy Spirit is unhindered during the services.

t LFCC, we believe that music is an inherent part of our worship experience. The Music Ministry exists to aid LFCC in carrying the gospel of Christ through the medium of vocal and instrumental music; this ministry seeks to spiritually, physically, mentally, intellectually, socially, emotionally and culturally develop and enrich the lives of the members of our church and the community. The goal of our Music Ministry is to glorify God and minister to the spirit of individuals and not to appeal to the fleshly nature of people. Our music is not entertainment-driven, but God-centered.

Musicians, Praise Team members, and Youth Choir members rehearse regularly for church services and special events that are held throughout the year.
